Let's analyze your eGFR

A few questions help us personalize your report.

About eGFR

eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) calculates how many milliliters of blood your kidneys filter per minute based on your creatinine level, age, and sex. It is the single most important measure for assessing kidney health and stages chronic kidney disease (CKD) from Stage 1 (eGFR >90, mildly reduced) to Stage 5 (eGFR <15, kidney failure requiring dialysis). Because early CKD has no symptoms, monitoring eGFR — even when 'within normal range' — is critical for catching decline before it becomes irreversible.

Also known as: eGFR, eGFR (Calculated), eGFR (CKD-EPI 2021), eGFR (CKD-EPI), eGFR African American, eGFR Non-African American, eGFR, CKD-EPI, Estimated GFR

What does your eGFR result mean?

Low eGFR indicates impaired kidney filtration. Below 60 mL/min defines chronic kidney disease. Below 15 signals kidney failure. High eGFR above 120 can indicate hyperfiltration in early diabetes.

Optimal vs. normal range

Standard labs flag below 60 mL/min. An eGFR dropping from 95 to 75 over two years signals kidney function loss that standard flags miss.
