Let's analyze your IgE Total levels

A few questions help us personalize your report.

About IgE Total

Total IgE is the antibody class responsible for allergic reactions and parasitic defense, triggering histamine release upon allergen re-exposure. Elevated total IgE is seen in atopic conditions like asthma, eczema, and allergic rhinitis, as well as parasitic infections. Total IgE does not identify specific allergens — allergen-specific IgE testing is required for that.

Also known as: IgE, IgE Total, Immunoglobulin E, Total IgE, 免疫球蛋白E

What does your IgE Total result mean?

High total IgE indicates atopic conditions, active parasitic infection, or allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis. Low total IgE is generally normal.

Optimal vs. normal range

Standard upper limit is 100-200 IU/mL. Optimal is below 50 IU/mL. Total IgE doesn't identify specific allergens.
