Let's analyze your Insulin levels

A few questions help us personalize your report.

About Insulin

Fasting insulin is the earliest detectable marker of insulin resistance, often rising years before glucose levels cross into the pre-diabetic range. High fasting insulin means your pancreas is working overtime to keep blood sugar under control — a clear sign that your cells have become less responsive to insulin's signal. This marker is frequently absent from standard panels but is one of the most actionable in preventive metabolic health.

What does your Insulin result mean?

High fasting insulin is the earliest marker of insulin resistance, often elevated 10-15 years before glucose rises. Low insulin occurs in type 1 diabetes or late-stage type 2.

Optimal vs. normal range

Standard labs consider up to 25 uIU/mL normal. Functional practitioners target 3-8 uIU/mL. HOMA-IR below 1.5 is optimal.
