Let's analyze your LDL/HDL Ratio

A few questions help us personalize your report.

About LDL/HDL Ratio

The LDL/HDL ratio compares your atherogenic LDL cholesterol to protective HDL cholesterol, providing a snapshot of cardiovascular risk balance. A higher ratio indicates greater atherogenic burden relative to your body's cholesterol clearance capacity. Most guidelines now favor ApoB as a superior risk marker, but the LDL/HDL ratio remains a useful clinical shorthand.

Also known as: LDL HDL Ratio, LDL:HDL Ratio, LDL/HDL Ratio

What does your LDL/HDL Ratio result mean?

A high LDL/HDL ratio above 3.5 signals atherogenic dominance. A low ratio reflects favorable lipid balance where protective HDL keeps pace with atherogenic particles.

Optimal vs. normal range

Standard acceptable ratio is below 3.5. Functional practitioners target below 2.0, ideally around 1.5.
