About Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is a cofactor for over 100 enzymatic reactions including amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis, and hemoglobin production. Deficiency impairs serotonin and dopamine production, causing depression, confusion, and weakened immunity. Chronic oversupplementation above 100 mg/day can paradoxically cause peripheral neuropathy.
